Applied Epic Client servicing and portal

Keep your agency open for service when your office isn't

Clients pull documents, make payments, and request certificates themselves on the web or your branded app. Your team spends its hours on the accounts that need them.

Your clients need answers after hours

Clients want answers at nine at night, and your team is already buried by nine in the morning. Certificates, policy questions and document requests arrive faster than anyone can work them, and each one waits until someone is at a desk.

Applied Epic helps you answer routine requests through customer self-service apps and websites, keeping record on the account, so your team can pick up when needed and know what needs judgment.

Key benefits

What a self-service client experience changes for your agency

Stronger client retention

Clients who can get what they need when they need it have one less reason to take the renewal somewhere else.

Capacity for more accounts

Clients handle routine requests themselves, so the same servicing team can carry more accounts as the book grows.

Modern service clients expect

Clients get the same self-service a national carrier offers, on a portal and app carrying your agency's name.

Premium collected sooner

Clients pay invoices in the portal when they think of it, and the payment applies to the account on its own.

Let clients handle their own routine requests, any hour, any device

How it works

Take document requests off the phones

Give clients a policy document, an auto ID card, or a certificate on demand.

Collect a payment without a staff touch

Take a full or partial balance payment online and automatically apply it to the right invoice in Applied Epic.

Let claims and policy changes start without you

Get first notice of loss or a policy change from the portal with the account details right alongside.

Let clients handle their own routine requests, any hour, any device

Issue certificates from the client details your team already maintains

How it works

Skip retyping coverage onto every certificate

Pull coverage and insured details straight from the account, so nothing gets rekeyed by hand.

Set rules on reissuing account by account

Control which clients can reissue a certificate or pull an existing copy themselves.

Send certificates that holders can verify themselves

Attach a secure link and QR code to every emailed certificate, so the holder confirms coverage themselves.

Part of Applied Epic

Client servicing works from the details your team already maintains

Most client portals sit on top of your management system, syncing on a delay and creating a second record someone has to reconcile by hand. Client servicing here works differently: what a client sees, pays or requests is the same live account your team services, so there's nothing to reconcile afterward.

Frequently asked about Service Portal

Your team creates a portal account for a client from the contact record in Applied Epic, and the client sets their own credentials from there with no separate system to provision. Access follows the contact you already maintain, which keeps what a client sees tied to the record your team services.

Clients can view policy documents and auto ID cards, pay invoices, submit a claim first notice, request a policy change and request a certificate of insurance. On accounts you enable, they reissue a certificate or pull a copy of an existing one, with everything operating against live Applied Epic data.

Yes. Each agency gets its own branded iOS and Android app for insureds, built on the same self-service configuration as the web portal. Insureds pull ID cards and documents, make payments, including partial payments and direct-bill carrier links, and submit a claim first notice from their phone. Portal and app payments require Applied Epic Payments.

Coverage and insured data are pulled from Applied Epic, so certificates are generated on the latest ACORD forms or your own templates. On accounts you enable, clients reissue a certificate or pull a copy of an existing one. Every emailed certificate includes a secure link and a QR code, and if coverage changes, the holder is directed back to the named insured. Portal access takes on Applied Epic's platform-level controls, and every certificate action a client takes is logged to the account automatically, so if a holder or carrier ever questions a certificate, you have a record to point to.

Yes, the Service Portal through Applied Epic is the product formerly known as Applied CSR24®. If you used Applied CSR24 for certificates, client document access or online payments, you are using the same portal. The MobileInsured app is part of this same capability, so nothing changes there either.

Client servicing runs on the same account as everything else, so policy documents, correspondence and coverage history sit together, client emails file in automatically through the Outlook integration, and AI search reaches all of it in one pass. The portal handles the routine requests; the rest is a person working from one place.
