As a Solution Specialist on the Applied Customer Success team, I meet with clients daily to strategically review their Benefits workflows and data standards, offering best practice recommendations for using their product suites. One thing I hear regularly is that the end-to-end Benefits lifecycle is a challenging process burdened by manual steps, fragmented systems, and time-consuming data re-entry that make it impossible to maintain a single source of truth. It’s been difficult for Benefits brokers to navigate this space efficiently and accurately – until now.
Applied Epic® and Applied Benefits Designer® now integrate with Employee Navigator to connect the end-to-end lifecycle – from quoting to enrollment. This revolutionary partnership represents the first and only integration between an agency management system and a Benefits administration system in the industry. I’m excited about this integration and have been delighted to tell my clients about it. Let me tell you a little more about why it’s so special.
This integration promises to transform all plan lifecycle stages, replacing previously manual processes with an effective digital workflow. The days of repeatedly entering extensive data across multiple platforms are over. With a few clicks, the integrated workflow moves critical plan data through the entire plan lifecycle, saving valuable time better spent servicing your customers and growing your Benefits book.
I especially love that this integration benefits everyone. Let’s dive into how.
One View of the Customer: Maintain a consistent view of your Benefits business with plan details captured in one connected system that integrates data across all stages of the plan lifecycle. With all prospects and clients across all lines of business in one management system, agency leaders get a holistic view of the entire organization, and producers have easier access to cross-sell opportunities.
Workflow Efficiency: Save time by entering data once, streamlining workflows across the entire quote-to-enroll process. Benefits account managers and CSRs free themselves up to service more clients than ever before.
Reduced E&O Exposure: Decrease the potential for manual errors resulting from rekeying data between systems and veer away from relying on spreadsheets and paper documents. Everyone at the agency, your clients, and their employees benefit from clean data.
Initiating the streamlined workflow couldn't be simpler. Starting with quoting and submissions, all medical, dental, vision and ancillary plans can be entered into Applied Benefits Designer. From there, final plan selections are seamlessly sent to Applied Epic to generate artifacts such as Benefits guides and broker compensation disclosures. Finally, plan details and premiums get pushed to Employee Navigator for quick and efficient customer access.
I’m confident that with the integration between Applied Epic, Applied Benefits Designer, and Employee Navigator, the journey from quoting to enrollment will be faster, more efficient, and less prone to errors.
